A professional actress, Cecilia currently teaches Junior English Drama at Good Hope School, English Drama at Price Memorial Catholic Primary School (where her students received the Awards of Outstanding Performers, Outstanding Stage Effects, and Outstanding Cooperation in the Hong Kong School Drama Festival), and the choir at Learning Habitat Kindergarten (Chatham LV Campus and Olympic Campus), leading the students to win the gold medal in the HKSMF competition.

Other performances include serving as the composer, lyricist, vocal director, and musical director for the play Venaissance “Les Fleurs du mal” (2024) by Artocrite Theater. She also worked as the musical director for the original soundtrack of Venaissance “Les Fleurs du mal”; as the scriptwriter, composer, lyricist, arranger, and actor for the podcast version of Last Ride, Fresh Eyes (一路 • 順風) (2023) at the Spotlight Festival in Tai Kwun; and as the director for Hong Kong Baptist University’s Christian Band Annual Concert for six consecutive years from 2018 to 2024. She holds a black belt in karate and was a former youth training team member of the Hong Kong Bowling Team. He also performed in WestK x Rooftop Productions: Songs of Innocence and Experience (天真與世故之歌) (2024). Josh was part of Chung Ying Theatre Company: The Miracles of the Namiya General Store (Third-run) (解憂雜貨店)(2022) and starred in the musical La Mancha (唐吉訶德) (2022) with the same company.

“My strengths lie in singing and acting. My past teaching experiences have taught me to observe every little movement of the children—often in school, kids are taught to sit still and behave, which can stifle their physical creativity. However, musical theatre requires actors to express emotions through both voice and body.

That’s why I focus on using ‘creation’ as a way for children to unleash their imagination and enhance their expressive abilities, both verbal and non-verbal. Then, I guide them toward creating performances that move and touch others.

What I hope most for children to learn in musical theatre is the ability to imagine and create a character or event. In a safe space, they can explore different perspectives, listen to others, and, through collective creation, strengthen their collaborative skills. A big stage requires great energy to showcase oneself. I hope to cultivate a theatrical world for children where there is no absolute right or wrong, but only good and better, giving them the freedom to explore.”

His contributions to film and television include notable projects such as the movie 12 Days (12日) (2023), Life Must Go On (深宵閃避球)(2022), and i’m livin’it (麥路人) (2020). From 2023 to 2024, she led the Methodist School (Primary) to win the English Drama Awards for Outstanding Performers, Outstanding Stage Effects, and Outstanding Cooperation.

Siobhan is a professional actress who graduated with First-Class Honours from the School of Communication at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2017. In 2024, she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts, majoring in Acting, at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (APA). She currently teaches voice theatre at the French International School.

Having studied Chinese dance from a young age, Ting-ting further expanded her dance repertoire during her studies at the APA by participating in a contemporary dance choreography workshop held by the School of Dance. Her performance received widespread acclaim. Recent works include her original one-woman show The Final Movement (終曲) (2024), which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at The 2nd International Monodrama Festival. She also performed in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts’ annual productions, A Journey of Sanshiro (三四郎)(2024) and Planning Our City (規劃香港)(2023), which won the Best Overall Production and Breakthrough Actor awards from the Academy.

The body is the actor’s primary tool, yet in many musicals, singing is more widely appreciated than dancing. Dancing iis not only an embellishment, it transforms the rhythm of the music into something tangible and helps children feel the pulse and energy shifts in the rhythm.

‘Moving’ activates children’s positive energy and emotions, allowing them to learn joyfully. Her recent performances include Planning Our City (Replanning Edition)(規劃香港（再規劃版）), Reading Addictions: It’s True, It’s True, It’s True, Trial Memory (讀癮起：《真㗎，真㗎，係真㗎》、《審判記憶》), A Journey of Sanshiro (三四郎). Lau was awarded the Outstanding Actor Award for her role as Evelyn in The Shape of Things (形相之外).

Message from Teacher Siu Kut 💬

My strength is acting and physical design, which helps children find the highlights of each character by reviewing the overall plot, and then uses vivid, interactive methods to make them invest in the character and release their potential. I use story experiential teaching: rather than telling them how to do it, I take them “into the play” and use their imagination, as if they were going through a journey together, step by step to get them to recognize character experiences and feel emotions.

I most want to empower children to gain confidence and expressiveness in a happy, fun, stress-free environment through musicals. Vocalizing, singing, and speaking lines on stage helps children build confidence and learn to express emotions in their own voices. It really does “learn while playing”!

My strengths are acting and dancing. Through the imagination that is often emphasized in actor training, I use a visual way to make it easier for children to understand body positioning, the toughness of movements, speed changes, etc. In addition, under the Hong Kong education system, they are often required to sit in their seats obediently, so I will provide space for them to dance under specific instructions, explore the possibilities of the body, find their own characteristics, and expand the extension of the body, thereby enhancing personal presence and self-confidence.

I hope that children can recognize every part of the body during dance learning, different from only using large muscles, and carefully disassemble which part of the body should be used to drive the movement and how to exert force correctly; practice body balance, coordination and isolation, and have a basic understanding of the sense of rhythm.
